Hello dears, I am back with another review.
It is summer and many people go to different beaches. Since most Asian skin (Kayumanggi) like Filipinos are very prone in skin discoloration caused by the sun, skin lightening lotion become suddenly in again.
So here is my review about one of the most known lotion in the Philippines, Vaseline Instant White lotion:
According to Vaseline’s Facebook page, the lotion SRP is Php110.00 for 100mL, Php190.00 for 200mL, and Php299.00 for 350mL.
Product Claims:
Vaseline Instant Fair Lotion makes your skin fairer and even-toned in 3 ways. First, the microreflectors make your skin appear fairer and even-toned instantly. Then, the Vitamin B3 whitens your skin from within, and with regular use, gives you visible results in 2 weeks. Your skin stays fair as the product has triple sunscreens that protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. Vasline Instant Fair gives you both an instant and long-term whitening effect.
My Experience:
I got mine at Php110.00 for 100mL (around $2.5)

Strong points:
* it is NOT sticky at all even though the weather is really really hot
*It has triple sunscreen, which is perfect for summer
*affordable
Weak points:
* The advertisement of "instantly 4x fairer" is too exaggerated. It don't see much any whitening effect on my skin. As you can see in the picture above ( if you noticed) in a way my skin looks lighter but not definitely fairer.
*Does not visibly whitens in two weeks of regular use. Maybe, it would be effective if use for more than two months but definitely not in two weeks.
Will I purchase it?
Not really. i'm still looking for a lotion who does what it says. It is kinda annoying to see false advertisement around the market. It makes me don't trust advertisement anymore.
